💼 Role Description

The Governance Analyst is a key contributor to SEED Gov’s mission, driving the development and execution of governance projects. This role focuses on crafting and reviewing governance proposals, streamlining internal processes, and delivering actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

💪🏻 Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of future governance projects, seeking out opportunities and drive forward operational tasks of ongoing programs.
• Actively participate in the reviewing and drafting of governance proposals, as well as in any accompanying processes.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, providing data-driven insights to facilitate strategic decision-making across governance initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver detailed weekly governance reports by gathering, analyzing, and presenting data.
• Document and regularly review internal and external processes, creating clear, comprehensive, and accessible workflows, procedures, and guidelines.
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends by actively engaging in relevant discussions, enriching the work at SEED.
• Work with our Governance team to conduct in-depth research and analysis, crafting governance proposals aligned with SEED’s vision and goals.

💡 What you will bring:

• Strong interest in Ethereum scalability, DeFi and infrastructure projects.
• Experience in DAOs and Governance Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with DAO governance platforms (e.g., Snapshot, Tally) and familiarity with on-chain governance protocols.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey information clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate findings into actionable governance strategies.
• Ideally, hold academic qualifications in areas such as economics, finance, political science, or blockchain technology.
• Embrace a proactive mindset, unafraid to be critical and contribute fresh perspectives to discussions with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage your own schedule effectively, work collaboratively within a team, and adapt to a dynamic and evolving environment.
